The French law of 9 December 2016 on transparency, the fight against corruption and the modernization of economic life, known as the Sapin 2 law, requires large companies to set up a program to prevent corruption and influence peddling.
It applies to companies with at least 500 employees and revenue above 100 million euros, as well as to groups that reach these thresholds. Their executives are personally required to deploy the program.
The program rests on eight measures. One of them requires training for the managers and employees most exposed. This module helps you meet it, and is just as useful for smaller organizations that want to raise awareness among their sales and purchasing teams, or even all their employees.
The subcontractors of these companies are concerned too. A company subject to the law must assess its suppliers and intermediaries: it can require their teams to be trained, for example in a framework agreement or a supplier listing. Training your employees, with certificates as proof, lets you meet that requirement and supports your selection.
